Drs Wei Jiang and Hui Jin have been awarded a grant under the Universities Australia – Germany Joint Research Cooperation Scheme to work on high dielectric constant thin film solar cells in collaboration with scientists from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany. The $25,000 award will support visits to KIT in 2021 and 2022 in order to conduct research including thin film processing and photovoltaic device fabrication. Under the Scheme, investigators from KIT will also visit the Centre for Organic Photonics & Electronics (COPE) at the University of Queensland, to facilitate the interdisciplinary project and deepen international collaboration.
