The AUCAOS (aucaos.org.au) symposium was held near Hahndorf in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, with many ECRs and PhD students attending. COPE PhD student Alex Loch was awarded the best PhD presentation prize for his work on poly(dendrimer)-based explosive sensors.
Dr Jos Kistemaker also won a poster prize for work carried out in the luminescence based sensing of analytes.
