UQ Development Fellowship awarded to Dr Xiuwen Zhou

Dr Xiuwen Zhou has been awarded a prestigious UQ Development Fellowship. Xiuwen is an expert on computational and theoretical chemistry/physics. Her recent interest, in conjunction with Professors Burn and Powell, has been on understanding why some iridium complexes that are typically used in organic light-emitting diodes are highly luminescent and others not. Xiuwen’s Fellowship will enable her to continue these studies and we look forward to her further contribution to the COPE research program.
