Professor Paul Burn represents the Australian Academy of Science at InterAcademy Partnership Workshop

Invited to attend on behalf of the Australian Academy of Science, the itinerary included a symposium ‘Getting from where we are to where we want to be in clean energy’, held at the Royal Palace Amsterdam, where former Secretary of Energy Prof Steve Chu (Stanford University) was guest of honour. 

The symposium was followed by the InterAcademy Partnership workshop on Realizing a Sustainable Energy Future, held at the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences. The workshop explored changes in global energy since the 2007 IAC report, Lighting the Way: Toward a Sustainable Energy Future.
